As the summer approached, the blue sky began to spread. Although the hot days continue at Tamba Farm, it is raining moderately, and the crops are growing smoothly. Currently, we are shipping mini pepper, mini carrots, basil, Swiss chard, ensai, artichoke, Italian parsley, cabbage and zucchini from the open-air area of Tamba Farm. Harvest of bitter gourd and okra starts this month. Okra is cultivated in red as well as green. Red okra is the same as red cabbage and loses its color when heated. It is a delicious and popular vegetable that can be used for a wide range of dishes such as salads, soups, stir-fries, and tempura. Just touching the fruits and leaves of the okra will cause the skin to be irritated by others, so we are careful not to give it skin when harvesting. Please enjoy summer vegetables with bright colors!
