If you could only see how beautiful you are, it would change your life. ——> Wouldn’t it tho? 👸🏼 To know that you have been endowed with a Glory all your own by our Creator—unique to you. To no longer shape-shift your life from the belief that you are only accepted through the lens of our culture’s beauty. But to see your own intrinsic worth as you are. 🌸 Lovely. Captivating. A beauty all your own. ——> Oh, man, to really sit with this: to know it deep in your soul. 😍 That when you look in the mirror or at a photograph of yourself, you like what you see and smile. Only aware of that acceptance. —> Wow, how much differently would we engage our world, not with judgement or comparison or competition, but only in Love. It seems I go back and forth with settling myself confidently in this knowledge. There are seasons where I just walk in this Truth, and the freedom, delight, and security it brings, oh my . . . amazing joy. 🙌🏻 I’m no longer looking to others to validate me or fill me with love, taking sooo much weight off them to come through. But also off myself unconsciously struggling to know. Insecurity just passes by. But then there are seasons when I’ve been betrayed by a friend or I’m running myself ragged and I can’t get that reflection time to ground myself in Truth, that the knowledge of my intrinsic worth can’t even seep in. It’s amazing how we are marked by another’s perception of us and how their Truth upon us—good or bad—gives incredible weight to how we perceive ourselves. Wishing otherwise. 🌟 It really does take soo much courage to believe differently, to fling off their perception and go back to the TRUEST REALITY that we are deeply worthy, delighted in, and captivating to the One who has made us. And in that reflection we mirror to a watching world a beauty all our own. Ohh, sister, can I get a 🙋. Believe it, it truly will change your life! . . . .
