Your email list doesn’t create clients. Your website doesn’t either. Add your Facebook group or the number of people that follow you on Instagram to that. Your funnel doesn’t create clients and neither do your ads. So what the heck does then? YOU That’s right. You are the one that creates clients. It’s your thoughts and beliefs and intentions behind your actions. And when you leave it up to outside circumstances, you will get stuck. For a long time, I felt trapped by those circumstances. I was convinced that the people I saw as successful had all the answers. I spent more money than I care to admit on programs and courses that I believed were going to solve all my problems. It wasn’t until I became intentionally aware of the stories I was telling myself about why my business wasn’t growing, that I realized I was the only one responsible for my outcomes and experiences. I was lacking belief in myself. I was lacking confidence that people want what I have to offer. So I busied myself with creating a content calendar, researching all the strategies, creating a funnel, trying ads, basically DOING all the things BUT actually creating clients. I became convinced that I just wasn’t doing enough. Success has everything to do with who you are being. Success is an inside job. I heard this quote from Michelle Obama the other day in my accountability group Do The Damn Thing created by @runtheworld_losangeles that @lelandcreative shared: “Success isn’t about how your life looks to others. It’s about how it feels to you. We realized that being successful isn’t about being impressive, it’s about being inspired." Go get inspired. Work on your thoughts and beliefs about yourself, your service, and those you serve, then go out a create value so good, they can’t help but want to know more.
