I remember when I lived in whistler a lot of the time I complained. It was too cold, I missed home, it was too expensive, the town was too isolated. Looking back several years later I loved the time I spent there. The friendships I made, the people I worked with, even the relationship I was in, are all memories I’ll never forget. Being young and free to travel and able to live in such a cool place really was amazing. You have to appreciate what’s happening around you and enjoy the moment because nothing last forever. It’s hard to appreciate the life we lead because we all have problems but it’s our outlook that creates the reality we have. I’ve learnt to stop just every now and then and say to myself, this is a good moment, I’m happy. Lesson learnt.
