THE RECESSION IS OVER. THIS YEAR WE GOT IT FOR YA 2011 was the first year of using cyphers with simple and good verses from the artists. This list featured the likes of Meek Mill, Big K.R.I.T., Cyhi the Prynce, Lil Twist, Yelawolf, Fred the Godson, Mac Miller, YG, Lil B, Kendrick Lamar and Diggy Simmons. Who would’ve thought this company expected a young man from Compton with mixtapes such as Overly Dedicated made it out to become the best rapper of this decade. Later that year, he would release Section.80, featured The Game’s and Drake’s records. A few more years later he released arguably hip hop’s two best albums of all time, won 147 awards, some tea good throwaway tracks compiled in an album, won a shitload of awards for his worst album (still good) due to mainstream success and had a soundtrack for a movie. Do you think Kendrick Lamar is top 5 all time? Do you think if he released another 9/10 would he be the best of all time? Do you think he would go experimental just like his peers Tyler and Rocky and outclass them? What do you think?
