Golden Hour in Paris | 12’ This was one of the first photos that led to my passion for photography. I travelled through Europe for a bit with @efultimatebreak which is the reason I originally wanted a camera. I wanted to be able to document my trip with more than my iPhone 4. One of my best friends dad’s actually helped me out by letting me essentially finance it through him rather than having me put up the cost on my own prior to my trip. If it wasn’t for that action I don’t think I would have actually gotten back into photography again. I am rambling on quite a bit, but it is crazy to me that I took this in the midst of trying to figure out how to use my camera. I mean, as I look back and reflect through the photos from this trip, I have some very bad photos that are out of focus (not in a creative way) but then its almost as if for a second I finally figured it out, and then I look at the next photo and I’m right back to normal. Its important to reflect sometimes. I think I have come a pretty long way from 7 years ago. As I am writing this I am annoyed to say its been seven years because it feels like time is moving so fast. As much as it feels like yesterday, I am reminded that I am getting older and it shows simply based on the fact one of my best friends just bought a house and instead of helping him, I am taking a walk down memory lane while sitting on their laminate floor writing this caption while he is using a table saw to assemble his house…Happy Friday! Love the most useless person to have as a helping hand while it involves tools and wood and shit.
