"Marvin, you're too much sometimes" My response: "Perhaps, you're not enough" Why be on this Earth to be average and to be the same as everyone when you can be different to create a positive change. I am not scared to post up my true self on social media. Why? Because of the following ... MY ADVICE TO APPROACHING THE EVERYDAY. ======================= Number 1: Know your value, your positives and negatives and own it. When you know you’ve achieved what you’ve set out to do on an everyday basis, it’s good to celebrate it and realise that whatever you do, people will recognise you for your happiness and the value you bring to friendships. ======================== Number 2: People’s opinion of you, doesn’t matter. Whether it be your colleagues, friends, bosses or people in the street, people will make quick judgements on your character … so why not show them your true self? If they don’t like it, it’s their issue … not yours. ======================== Number 3: Accept criticism only from those who care about you and all you do. Why be sad over comments from people to whom you give no affiliation with? ======================== Number 4: Be in a position to give a lot rather than give a little. How would you feel if your favourite artist played only 3 tracks in their live concert? How would you feel if your motivational speaker only gave a 2 minute speech? Take the stage. Grab the spotlight. Do all you can to shine so other people can be inspired to do the same. Be loud. Be proud of who you are. ======================== Number 5: Be prepared to share the spotlight of success to others. It’s good to know that you can come up on the stage and sing those difficult notes but encourage those who are fearful of the light or have doubts of their own ability to get up and really support them throughout the journey. It’s good to know you can run the fastest in the team and achieve first place but encourage those who are still in the process of training by garnering your words of wisdom upon them. The world is a diverse place. Why add negativity and silence people when you can help them be their number one.
