Meine Bananen waren nämlich alle schon schön schwarz (passiert mir irgendwie öfter...ups) und statt sie (mal wieder) zu Nice Cream zu verarbeiten, hatte ich die Idee eines Bananenkuchens. [El Mero Mero] - The Tortilla Soup ($14) is a classic Mexican dish whereby household will use leftover tortillas to make this soup instead of throwing them away. Over at El Mero Mero, to re-interpret the dish, fresh tortillas are dehydrated and flamed. It is then blended with roasted tomatoes, garlic, onion and guajillo chilli pepper. A seat at the table enjoying soul food and this plant based foodie was able to have a seat at the table as well. It’s rare to find vegan soul food let alone good vegan food in a city that’s known for their seafood and meat dishes. However, I enjoyed @sweetvegansoulfood collard greens, flavorful okra with grits, jerk cauliflower and the corn bread was on point! I even sampled their bread pudding ice cream which was delectable. I love seeing a thriving vegan spot in a predominantly black community with long lines and people eating good while eating good food 💚 Ps, my friends enjoyed their soul food from @williemaesnola
Bolinho de costela, mandioquinha e couve! Aqui foi usada a costela sem osso @vpj_alimentos Assada no forno em temperatura baixa por 4 hrs e depois desfiada. Mandioquinha cozida amassada(não pode bater pq solta o amido e não da certo) Couve picada. Misturar tudo e temperar com sal e pimenta do reino. Depois passar no ovo e depois na farinha Panko. Fritar e pronto.

•||👩🏽🍳Homemade Capellini with Pancetta and Truffle Burrata from @yumletseat recipe is what every Sunday should be all about💥 Recipe for ✌🏼 •250 g of Capellini Pasta •4oz of Pancetta •1/2 Onion •2 Garlic Cloves •1 cup of Grated Parmesan Cheese •1 cup of Whipping Cream •1 tsp of Black Pepper •1 tbsp of Ghee •2 Truffle Burratas 👉🏼Directions In a sauce pan in medium-high heat, add the chopped pancetta & crisp. In a food processor, chop the garlic & onion, then add to the sauce pan with ghee once the pancetta is crisp. After the onion and garlic are ready, reduce the heat to low & add the whipping cream & pepper. Cook the pasta in a pot with boiling water for 4mins or until al dente. Add parmesan to the sauce & mix. Once the pasta in ready, remove the water & add to sauce pan. Stir & serve. Top pasta with black truffle burrata & ENJOY!💕 📸 @yumletseat
[Stockyard Beef] - thinly sliced pieces of Wagyu Bresaola with mashed potatoes. Aged for 4 months, the way the Wagyu Bresaola melted in my mouth and how its concentrated flavours spread, was incredible. The mashed potato was airy with a mousse-like texture, which paired really well with the buttery bresaola.
