Hold him a little longer, rock him a little more, tell him another story, you’ve only told him four. Let him sleep on your shoulder, rejoice in his happy smile, he is only a little boy, for such a little while. 🧡 . How sweet is this little Bro Co?
The path to becoming a doctor! 👩🏼⚕️ The road is NOT easy but dang is it worth it! As my husband was studying for his recertification boards for internal medicine, we started thinking about JUST how many tests it took for doctors to get to where they are. Here’s my standardized exam path once I actually got INTO medical school: 1️⃣ COMLEX level 1 2️⃣ COMLEX level 2 3️⃣COMLEX level 2 PE 4️⃣COMLEX level 3 5️⃣ Internal Medicine Boards 6️⃣ Echocardiography Boards (I have been told that I was the youngest person to take and pass that test ::brushing shoulders off::) 7️⃣ Nuclear Cardiology Boards 8️⃣ Cardiology Boards The last 4 have to be re-certified every 10 years. Think about other ‘professionals’...there are VERY FEW who have to actually re-certify that they are still competent and capable of performing adequately every 10 years! From the time I graduated medical school (4 years) I completed 6 MORE YEARS of post-graduate training. I continue to read and learn and stay up-to-date with the latest data and knowledge. Knowledge 🧠is power! #womeninmedicine#medicine#cardiology#cardiologist#drtiffany#queenofhearts#somedoc#somedocs#broco#medicalschool#residency#internship#tests#exams#knowledgeispower#postgrad#topdoc
