your third eye, also known as your Ajna chakra or pineal gland, is your gateway to the divine realm. when your third eye is open, you’ll experience clear insight, open-mindedness, intellectual balance, and a strong connection to your intuition or inner wisdom. however, if your third eye is blocked or constricted, you’ll struggle with narrow-mindedness, overthinking, insomnia, suffocating beliefs, lack of purpose, depression, and an inability to connect with your soul. to prepare yourself for an open connection with your Anja chakra: move outside your comfort zone & open your mind avoid processed foods & eat whole foods, veggies, and fruit (especially antioxidants) avoid fluoridated water (it’s been shown by doctors to calcify the pineal gland) begin rooting yourself in mindfulness drink a lot of water & increase blood flow through exercise (meditation on the third eye is a part of the larger practice of hatha yoga so this an excellent way to increase success. you can access your third eye without yoga, but to open other chakras it requires practice using the body, not just meditation) when your body feels receptive and you are prepared to meditate, sit or lay down with good posture and connect to your body. empty your mind. this is the point at which you will begin to start focusing on the third eye, the center of your forehead. under your eyelids, move your eyes toward the third eye. keep them focused there throughout the meditation. begin counting backward from one hundred as you focus. if you aren’t able to get in touch with the third eye immediately, don’t worry. meditation can take a while to get used to, and activating the third eye even longer. have you accessed your third eye yet? the feeling is addicting.
