This is part one of my short film, ‘As I Grow Old’, and if you’d be kind enough to put the all-important sound on for it that’d be bloody marvellous. There’s a link to the full and uninterrupted film in my bio if you want to really treat yourself... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On Saturday 20th October 2018 around 700,000 people marched through central London in support of holding a second referendum on Brexit. There were men, women and children of all ages and backgrounds peacefully expressing their views in the glorious autumnal sunshine. The atmosphere was inclusive, friendly and positive with smiles prevailing over frowns. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This video was shot on one roll of 16mm film and I think it encapsulates the feeling of the day perfectly. The poem was written by @Brian_bilston and read by Julian Barratt, with accompanying music by @raffertie. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m not nearly eloquent enough to properly express my thanks to not only Brian, Julian and Ben, but to @richrdwilkinson @eduardo_di_duffie @highfivingivan @wildislandfilms and my friends who have given me their time and advice. I’m really proud of this and most certainly couldn’t have done it without you.
