What’s the worst that could happen? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Like actually. What would be the worst thing that could come from you doing that? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you went for your dream, made the change, and you failed, what would be the result? Let’s write it down. Get clear. Figure out what our worst case scenario would be. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I know it seems counter intuitive, but this can be a calming strategy. It demonstrates for us, & our subconscious mind, that the worst usually isn’t all that bad. It helps us see that we could and would bounce back from whatever might happen, even if we fail. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For me, once I saw my worst case scenario from launching my own business would be moving in with our parents, I realized I would still be okay. If I flopped and this dream of mine failed, I would be fine. I would feel bruised, embarrassed. But I wouldn’t be alone. People would still love me. I would have a place to go and I would just try something else. I’d wallow for a bit, but then I’d be able to pick myself back up and go after another dream instead. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And now, let’s switch gears. What might happen if you succeed? If your dream comes to fruition, you get to do the thing you want to do. What happens if you kill it? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For me, I can make the impact I want to have. I help people find peace and purpose. I am their cheerleader as they go after their dreams. I hold that vision for them and reinforce the life they want is possible. And coming their way. Soon. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What wonderful things will happen for you? Maybe you’d have more time, more time to take care of you and do the things you love. I bet you’d create a life that’s wilder than your wildest dreams. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And if we look at the probability here, the worst case scenario probably will never happen. Ever. But now we’re prepared for it, so it doesn’t seem as scary anymore. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Let me know your worst case and succeed scenario. I’d love to cheer you on as always!
