Trying to squeeze more wear out of my summer wardrobe as it starts to get cooler! Also trying to encourage summer to stick around with ditzy floral sundresses, sunny yellow denim, and wicker hats and shoes! I’ve owned this dress for a decade now! I thrifted it back in 2009 and had my mum cut a METER off the skirt length transforming it from frumpy floor length to sexy summer sundress! One of the things I try to teach people when I take them out on a thrifting/vintage shopping and styling experience(dm me for details on how to book) is remember that items can be tailored! The money you save on second hand pieces can be invested in having them tailored! I’d say nearly 1/4 of my wardrobe has be tailored; everything from hemlines brought up, seams let in and taken out, to complete and total restyles! If you’ve got a good tailor the possibilities are endless! Outfit details; vintage babydoll dress(thrifted), cropped denim jacket from SinglePrice.com, vintage handbag from @beyondretro, sunglasses are from Flying Tiger, the hat is vintage Laura Ashley(thrifted), and shoes are Topshop(bought in 2012).
