At the end of August I turned my phone off and escaped to the mountains for a week. I hiked a new trail each day, climbing higher and higher without distraction. Solitude had never felt this good. Since I returned from the trip, I’ve been trying to put all of it into words. I’m going to post some photos for now because I need to release the melancholy that set in after I got home. I love my city, but I’m desperate to get back on a trail. Tomorrow I’m walking from Eastbourne to Seaford in an attempt to ease my mind. What do you do to get away from all the noise?
