MAX OUT WEEK! (150kg✅, 160kg🚫, 160kg🚫) - Day 1 was squats and let me tell you I was wasn’t expecting anything special going into the session. But turned out to be the cleanest PR I’ve ever hit. - My dumbass didn’t look ahead of program and didn’t realise max outs were coming up, so I was training with Ronnie Coleman intensity, thinking everything was peanuts this past week, instead of conserving my energy and CNS to let loose at the right time(this week). - So I came in, 6 hours of sleep and all, realised I forgot my belt and had to run home to get it🤦🏻♂️. - Finally got into warming up, went through everything as throughly as possible, ironing out all the tweaks, snap action, cramps, old man knees, the works😅. Felt solid af after and was ready to fuck up these weights🤪. - Worked up 140kg and did singles for everything after. 140kgx1, 145x1, 150x1. 150kg went up cleaaaannn! And was a 5kg PR! I was so confident and excited slapped another 10kg on the bar just to see how far I could take it. 160kg didn’t happen though, messed up on the unrack. - Had to try it again, because I’m just stubborn like that, to make sure I actually gave it my all and didn’t fail because of a little thing like improper setup, otherwise it would keep me up for nights to come😂. Setup was perfect the second time round but just didn’t have it on me at this point. - All in all happy with what I got, Bench is up next and I’m praying I left enough in the tank to kill it tommorow🙏.
