Sticky labels on products are one of my major pet peeves! Especially ones that are right in the middle of a plate or frame and are practically impossible to remove. I'm looking at you @tjmaxx and @homegoods 😡😡😡 Anyone else feel this way? 🙋🏼♀️⠀ I absolutely refuse to let the stickers win. 😤 #stubborn So I've tried lots of different removal methods over the years! There isn't really a one size fits all solution because every sticker is different. So I wanted to share my top seven ways to remove stickers with items you already have at home! ⠀ 1️⃣Hair Dryer: Just turn the hair dryer on, hold it close to the sticker, and keep it in place for about 30 seconds. The sticker should peel away easily!⠀ 2️⃣Peanut Butter: Just smear a thick layer across the sticker you want to remove, and let it sit for an hour or so. After the wait, you should be able to wipe the sticker and adhesive right off!⠀ 3️⃣WD-40: Spray it liberally onto the sticker you want to remove, and let it soak in for a while. The sticker should slide right off!⠀ 4️⃣Pencil Eraser: If you’ve removed the paper part of a sticker but can’t get the adhesive residue off, grab a pencil eraser! The grippy rubber will help drag the adhesive away from the surface, so you can scrape it off more easily.⠀ 5️⃣Mayonnaise: Just spread a thick layer of mayo onto the sticker in question and let it sit for a half hour or so. Wipe or scrub the sticker away.⠀ 6️⃣White Vinegar: Soak a washcloth in white vinegar, then wrap the cloth around the area where the sticker is. Let it soak for 30 minutes or so, and the sticker should slide off much more easily.⠀ 7️⃣Baking Soda & Coconut Oil: Mix together enough coconut oil and baking soda to create a paste, then smear the paste across the sticker. Let it sit for an hour, then scrub!⠀ ✅Be sure to click on the flag symbol under this post to save it here on Instagram.
