𝘞𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨.... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐈 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It depends on the progression, reps, sets, exercise style, muscle group, goals, overall PLAN you are following in terms how heavy or light & how often you lift or don't. A lot of factors right? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have done programs where I shocked my own dang self with the weight I progressed to & then other times, like today, in my current plan, I was usin' Braxton's 1 LB baby weights! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 𝐒𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏋️♀️Form-- duh of course. And my trainer who was once a Les Mills instructor, qualified, certified, & knowledgeable has her cuing on point! As my toddler says, "Safety first!" ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏋️♀️Refueling +Rest-- gotta help those muscles repair after you've torn 'em down. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭? 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏋️♀️⭐A PLAN!-- ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I used to be so random when I'd go to the gym. Having worked 1:1 with a trainer before, it was great when I could afford it & work with them regularly. However, after I felt like I "got it" & could go it on my own using what I had been given, I naturally plateaued and then started picking & choosing, skipping days, & "oops my machine is in use"- gotta go! excuses. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Now, here on Workout 34/100, the plan is in place. There is a purposeful progression developed & put in place by an expert. All I have to do is follow along. Modifiers provided at all times. Always a place to go & grow within it & then beyond it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And here I was on a typical rest day for me, trusting the process, following the plan, & enjoying my Sunday all-the-more because I chose to sweat. I chose to follow the plan.
