Leaves bring so much joy to the children at Acorn Hill. Some fill wheelbarrows with them. Others delight in raking them into piles and jumping off of the tree stumps into them. Other children collect and put leaves into bouquets, tying them together with yarn or vines. Leaves are used for making "soup." They can be tickets to shows, which can allow an opportunity to perform in front of classmates. Or, sometimes the children simply sort them by size, shape and color. The imagination of young children is limitless! How wonderful to have the time and space to create!
