I LOVED working on this story for Eater about Kansas City's tacos. Not having grown up here, or having parents from the area, I never understood the deep tried tacos covered in parmesan that my husband was obsessed with (especially the ones with the bright orange cheese from In-A-Tub that I'm pretty sure are Tyler’s favorite food). But these tacos have a rich history, mingling the Mexican and Italian heritage of our city. It was so fun to learn about it as I photographed Kansas City institutions like @mannyskc, or tiny, homegrown places like PR's Place in the Crossroads. Check out the story over on @eater’s feed!
