Credit to: @iron.samurai93 ・・・ #hardwork and following #rpstrength works. Down 9 pounds in a month and have more #muscle and #definition than before. I'm not one to preach but RPStrength definitely has helped boost me to where I want to get. I always did IIFYM but never had these results. The coaches behind the templates know what they're doing. If you combine that with hard work than you'll progress. Doing one more week of FL1 than moving to maintenance and new base. #fitness#dedication#motivation @rpstrength @rp_transformations #rpstrength #rplifestyle

Credit to: @janyce.okamoto ・・・ As much as I hate the photo on the left, it's a great place to start and show progress. I had tried doing the Paleo diet prior to this, but found it to be too restricting in some ways and too unstructured in others. I also am allergic to most fruit and nuts, and deathly allergic to avocado (this is pretty much the only non-basic thing about me lol), which made the diet boring and harder. Shortly after, I did a 30 day diet challenge that was even more restricting, and while it worked a little bit, it was not sustainable for the lifestyle that I like, and I didn't see any training benefits. There are all kinds of diets, and they work for different people, but these just didn't work for me in terms of my goals, training, lifestyle and general happiness. - - Fast forward to @rpstrength, which was the first nutrition plan to "work" for me. I never thought I could have abs, and low and behold they came. At first I was using the fat loss templates just to make changes in my physique, but the benefits and progress I felt in my training was awesome, too. I was PRing left and right at the gym, and had never felt better, about myself and in my training. The way that the templates work, I can eat all the foods I love (with minor substitutions like whole grain bread instead of white or brown rice instead of white), and they're timed to fuel and recover from my workouts, making me feel stronger during training and recover better. The amount/timing of carbs and fat are specified for each meal depending on the timing and intensity of your training. I LOVE carbs (and I don't mean fruits and veggies), so being able to eat things like real sandwiches, pancakes, tacos, pasta, etc makes me so happy, and able to eat out easier than with other diets. The amount of knowledge I have gained about nutrition and my body from RP amazes me. Whether I'm cutting for a meet, maintaining, or (currently) eating to gain muscle, RP has gotten the job done for me. I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't before. Not only for fat loss or muscle gain, but also for their books and cook books. #rpstrength #rplifestyle #diet #nutrition

Credit to: @chrispearcey ・・・ I was hesitant to post a mirror shirtless selfie, but i've worked my ass off the last 6 months to get here! I've been fit the last several years, but I feel I'm starting to reach a new level and its amazing to see far I've come from my lowest point health wise. When it's said that diet is 80% of the effort, it couldn't be more true. This is the leanest I've ever been along with the most muscle I've ever had. This has contributed to greater training sessions a ton of PRs lately. I couldn't have done it without the amazing coaches and community at @beavertoncrossfit and the templates from @rp_transformations and @rpstrength that helped me dial in my nutrition. #rpstrength #rplifestyle #diet #nutrition #consistencyiskey #motivation

Credit to: @krystalelliott ・・・ Not all @rp_transformations are super dramatic and mind blowing. Ending my cut here!! After 12 very difficult weeks I have gained a pound and recomped slightly. I think my body is telling me it needs a BREAK from crazy diets (we are going on 5 exhausting years here of meticulous tracking and weird restrictive eating phases) so I’m very much looking forward to reverse dieting my way through the @rpstrength maintenance tabs and hopefully finding a happy, healthy relationship with food and intuitive eating. And maybe for the first time in a long time, finding a way to live without this crazy pattern of over/under eating and all or nothing diet mentality. I have reached my peak here. I am ready to just focus on crushing it in the gym again. #fitness #dietfatigue #fatloss #ijustwannabestrongagain #transformationtuesday

Credit to: @paleo.ish_daph • R P • . Annndddd 💥BOOM💥 just like that, 7 weeks has come and gone! I cannot begin to tell you how @rpstrength has changed my life. I’ve always been an athletic person working out everyday, busting my ass in the gym and for what?!!! To waste all that hard work with the wrong eating habits. I didn’t eat too bad, but I wasn’t eating the proper intake of food throughout the day to fuel all that I worked for! And I have the biggest sweet tooth so I ate pasties, bakes goods, ice cream almost all the time 🤦🏽‍♀️!!! I thought I was balancing it out by working it off, but wrong! And on top of that I drank beer and just drank alcohol period! I mean though I know I was strong and fit, I was still very insecure of how I felt especially in my clothes. It was a love hate relationship. I had no direction. The truth was that I know what I was supposed to do, but I just didn’t do it. I also knew the only thing that was holding me back was myself! • Fast forward to 2019, I stopped all my bad habits cold turkey and changed my entire lifestyle. I finally opened the @rpstrength templates and went in! Now I wake up around 4:30/5am everyday to workout. I meal prep every week, I eat 5-6 meals a day depending on my workouts, I meditate daily, I don’t drink (unless it’s a special occasion and if I do it’s a glass of red wine) I have probably only drank a total of 6 glasses since the new year and keep in mind I attend events for work and with birthday month, you can just imagine all the pressure of alcohol in my face, but I was focused and learned to say NO and didn’t feel bad about it. I also try to get in 6-7hrs of sleep (lately it’s been 5hrs, but I’m working on it). Though I am finished with my cut, I know I’m not done! I will be working on the maintenance template until the next cut. See you then! • Before RP January 7th: 157# On RP January 20th: 150# March 11: 140# #rpstrength #rptransformation #eatingclean #eatcleantrainmean #betterstrongerfaster #inspire #selfmotivated #selflove #selfcare #lifestyle #fitnessjourney #fitmotivation #healthy #bemorehuman #eatgoodfeelgood #goalsetting #momwholifts #girlswholift #letmemotivateyou

Credit to @kindler728 ・・・ When I realized that I was probably another couple of years away from being 400 pounds it really hit me how much I had completely given up on myself. I had decided that long hours at the office were more important than my health, and didn’t have a balance in my life. At one point I was unable to stand out of a chair without being in excruciating pain due to my weight. It hit me that if I didn’t stop I was increasing my chances of facing some serious health risks. I decided that day to change that and join a new gym that I had heard had a judgement free zone and a true community atmosphere. I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to lose the weight but I was determined to live a more active lifestyle and at least attempt to better my health. Years passed and I didn’t realize how far I’d come until this past November when I came across a folder that I stored away in a filing cabinet at work. It was my CF goals sheet that John Stevenot made me create after my first class at the gym. Reading the sheet i knew how close to my goals that I was to achieving all three. The consistency and mobility were there but I had to say good bye to the poor eating habits on the weekend. So I made it a priority to stop making excuses and make better eating choices that were more in line with my goals. Once I found the commitment the weight started flying off. I am happy to say I finally weigh less than 300 pounds. I have no plans on stopping here and will continue to chase a healthier weight and more PRs in the gym. I want to thank my wife who meal prepped with me every Friday night for hours and talked me out of eating that cheeseburger back in January (very close call). Thanks to all my friends and family for all the support. Thanks to all the past and present community @crossfitblueash for all of your help and support day in and day out. I’m grateful to know every single one of you! A special thanks to John Stevenot for making me create this goals sheet and for helping me when I could barely complete a workout. We may have lost you to soon but you are with us all in memory and spirit. @smashwerx #rpstrength #rplifestyle#hwpo #consistencyiskey #noexcuses

Credit to: @akbeyoutifulmess ・・・ One of my passions is learning new ways to grow in my health journey. This year I tackled macros & understanding how to fuel my body for my weight training regimen. . . . Thankfully @rpstrength makes personalized vegan meal plans which expanded my knowledge of plant protein options extensively. I struggled in the beginning understanding the math & which grams to calculate. It took me a few weeks to get a routine & I went through some frustrations feeling as though I wasn’t doing the plan correctly. My advice to beginners of any new understanding is to have grace with yourself. I stopped pressuring myself to hurry my understanding, I asked question, & I got involved in the support groups. . . . These are the results of my cut Jan 1, 2019 - March 1, 2019. I met my 10lb goal loss after even an entire first month without the scale moving at all. But I headed the advice of many before & trusted the program. I saw gains in my lifts & cardio output as well. . . . I’m excited to complete another cut later this year & feel so grateful for all of the new food resources & protein options I have learned to help my vegetarian lifestyle. #transformationtuesday #akgirl #weighttraining #macros #newyear #goals #gains @rp_transformations

Credit to: @jordanbsharp ・・・ @rpstrength deserves a solid shout out, so here goes. I started the templates on January 1 and ended it a little early at the end of week 10. I was 94% compliant with the plan over this time frame. Towards the end of the plan, during weeks 8-10, I had a lot of trouble staying asleep at night. I was getting fatigued during my lifts and during the workday which is why I chose to end it early. I am a little disappointed I didn’t make it the full 12 weeks but I am satisfied with their nutrition plan. I went from about 235-ish to 212. I saw virtually no loss in strength from a PR perspective. For now, it’s time for a nice long run on the maintenance tabs. Check them out, it’s worth the effort. #rpnutrition #rpstrength #rptransformation #renisanceperiodization #rplifestyle
